I have been asked to develop a coaching skills course for retail sales assistants. Any ideas where to find good basic level coaching technique material, approaches etc that can be translated into basic user freindly language,

If you want to use the GROW model of coaching, as a lot of folk do for simple coaching etc. then just do a google search for “GROW model coaching” or the like and you should find plenty of resources that you can use to make a simple coaching guide from.
Though don’t copy it all outright – copyright infringement isn’t nice.
