I am currently studying for the CIPD Certificate in Training Practice.

For my project I am looking at the use of Behavioural Competencies (“Soft Skills”) in Recruitment, Assessment, and above all, Training for IS/IT staff and managers. (Information could be held in confidence and used at summary level if required)

I have put together a questionaire to gather information and I am also hoping to survey examples of competency frameworks in use within organisations for these purposes.

It has been a “challenging” process getting hold of people who can assist me – My respect (and sympathy) for sales people cold calling has increased greatly 🙂

Can anyone out there help me, or does anyone have any contacts in HR/Training departments supporting IS/IT teams that I coud approach?

Many thanks

Neil
