In opening the annual Education Technology Show in London, Charles Clarke is to announce a major upgrade to the National Grid for Learning - the programme to equip schools and communities with Internet access.

This year's exhibition is entitled 'Teaching and Learning with ICT' and promises to be the most up-to-date exposition of new technology for learning.
