The Biritish Institute for Learning and Development (BILD) has launched a junior membership scheme.
The scheme will enable younger members from 7 years old and upwards to gain recognition for developing and enriching the life of other children.
The junior membership level, developed in partnership with charity Young Pioneers, will provide a certificate of verification that demonstrates a young person has taken part in an activity where they have trained, developed, coached, mentored or volunteered to enrich the life of another person.
Karen Velasco, chairman of BILD, said: "The BILD is proud to be working with Young Pioneers and Luke Lancaster on such an exciting and valuable programme. Luke has an extraordinary vision and the determination to make a success of his charities. No other institution offers a junior membership scheme and the BILD sees this as an opportunity to really make a difference by recognising everyone working in or towards a learning and development activity."
