Braille for students

default-16x9

We have been told to expect a registration for one of our programmes from a blind candidate. It looks like we will need braille versions of materials, and may have to accept assignments in Braille.
Does anyone know of readers/translators/software, or about braille printers etc that can be used off a pc? Or is there anyone who has had this problem who can advise?

  3. Contact person
Try contacting Eunice Smith c/o Edinburgh University Settlement, Old Royal High, Regent Road, Edinburgh.
Her project is for translating materials to Braille using a PC and its software. She knows what you need and how to get it. She also had her equipment funded so you might want to ask about funding it.

  4. Assistance for braille
