In the new year British Telecom (BT) are to introduce a round-the-clock unmetered access plan which will cost a flat rate of £14.99 per month without per-minute call charges.
This new tariff called BTinternet Anytime is expected to encourage more internet growth within the UK. They have also announced their plan to launch 'personalised Openworld portal' (POP), a concept first introduced in April last year but has been delayed owing to the slow roll-out of their ADSL services.
This POP is intended to allow customers the chance to create their own portal that will give them access to devices from desktop PC's to mobile phones.
