Building learning communities to shape the new Scotland

Brainpool are organising a one-day workshop with George Por, President of Community Intelligence Labs in Santa Cruz, California on 30 October 1998 in Glasgow. Billed as a thought provoking, participative event, it¹s a must-do for everybody concerned about the quality of partnerships and how people can work together to shape the culture of Scotland.

The workshop aims to create the possibility of seeding a learning community of people who want to create a positive future. Both Scottish Enterprise, through the Scotland’s Future initiative, and Glasgow Development Agency, through their commitment to Lifelong Learning, are backing this event. George is a world leader in building face to face and virtual community, and works with corporate clients to build intranets and communities of practice.
