Can anyone recommend a ‘man-management’ course in sussex?

We have some managers that are to be trained on man-management, and wondered if anybody could recommend a suitable course within the Sussex/London area?

  4. Some helpful tips in your search
Whatever course you choose, take care to ensure that you speak to the deliverers and if possible visit the venue. Some of the best management programmes focussing on the people issues of ‘man-management’ can be found at Roffey Park Management institute based at Roffey Park near Horsham in West Sussex, give them a ring and talk through what you would hope to get from any programme that you (or your staff) might attend, visit the place too if you can. They are not cheap but they are experts in this field. Their number is 01293-851644 (If I remember rightly).
If you are looking for a programme for a number of staff then most training and development organisations can design something specifically to meet your needs. I am a management development consultant at the Civil Service College and have a background in both Private and public sector, if I can be of any help do ring me on 01344-634190. Don’t be put off by the title of the college, we have a lot of expertise in ‘man-management’ and management development in general. Useful too if you can look for a programme that is not just a one off event but that can link into some longer term learning for the partcipants. You might want to consider Action learning. Anyway this message is getting far too long
    Good luck with your search,
    ken

  6. Yes I can
Spa consultants offer cost effective man management courses, depending on what you are specifically looking for. They deal with basic competency development courses up to strategic management courses. You can visit their web site on http://www.spaconsultants.co.uk or phone them on 0181 948 2785. These guys all come from a man management background and build up a good rapport with their delegates. These guys are running a lot of courses for me at different levels of my company and are good.
