Yes it can – Yes it must
Yes training can become a profit centre and yes all training and L & D departments must be able to show specifically how and where their programmes and courses reduce costs, avoid costs or increase revenues for the organisation.
We build our programmes around defined business issues, business outcomes and measurable ROI. I’ve found Paul Kerns book – Evaluating the ROI from Learning – to be a valuable resource to help me identify how to achieve this for my clients.
