and also…..
Hi Sue
My "policy" is on my website at:
http://www.coach-and-courses.com/page7.htm
It is important to clarify what constitutes a "cancellation"…….moving a course from next week to eight weeks time may be seen as only a postponement but the dates are lost so in my book that constitutes a cancellation.
I hope this helps
Rus
Thanks Rus
That's really useful

Cancellation policy
There are many examples of such policies on the websites of different training providers. Lots of them are unnecessarily overcomplicated. Based on my experience of devising these kind of processes, my advice is as follows:
– Make it fair and keep it as simple as possible
– Before you announce it – do a few "possible scenario" tests on how you will implement it.
– Consult with the people who will have to implement the policy – get them to test it before you sign it off.
Good luck

Cancellation & Transfer Policy
Cancellation Policy
Once the dates for work or courses have been confirmed our cancellation policy is as follows:
21 – 28 working days before a course – 20% of course fee
11 – 20 working days before a course – 50% of course fee
1 – 10 working days before a course – 100% of course fee
Transfer Policy
If you need to rearrange the dates for any reason, 100% of the course fee remains payable based upon the original date. The fees set out below will then be payable in relation to the revised date. In the event that a course is rearranged on more than one occasion, these fees will apply in respect of each revised date. If no revised date is agreed within 5 working days of the agreed delivery date, our cancellation policy will apply
Transfer to 21 days prior to the delivery date – £30 administration fee
Transfer 15 – 20 working days prior to the delivery date – 40% of course fee
Transfer 1 – 14 working days prior to the delivery date – 75% of course fee
Thanks all
Some good food for thought

stick to the terms
Hi Sue
Rus and Garry have good examples there and if you want any more then please get in touch as we have 100s of T&Cs from the suppliers that we use on behalf of our clients when sourcing and booking their training.
My advice would be to stick to the terms and conditions religiously as once you've cut a client or employee some slack once there is no going back.
Good luck,.
