I am looking for hypothetical case studies designed to create discussion, learning and application of key managemnet principles (Hiring, poor performance, leadership motivation, dealing with politics/complexity, recently promoted manager, etc. etc.). My client is in IT, is fast paced and the participnats are from Iberia benelux and the Nordics, they are all sales managers. I am looking for short "punchy" scenarios that will stimulate discussion and debate, nothing complex or exended. I am willing to pay for the use of your IP
Thanks
Pete

I have several such case studies. Please give me a call and I will look for the most suitable. Melanie Hollinshead 01992 812504, melanie@hollinsheadandco.com
I’ve got some

I have some that are designed for “role play” so they are quite useful as the manager doesn’t have all the information handed to him/her on a plate

you could try introducing them to Action Centred Leadership as a theory….it puts the result into context, especially for the longer term life expectancy of the manager.
It would also be worth looking at why there is such a focus on results…is this coming down from above within the organisation? Are people responsibilities in the KPIs of the managers concerned?

(PS I think you might get a wider result if you posed your comment as a question in it’s own right)
