default-16x9

Robin Ryde is the new head of the Centre for Strategic Leadership at the National School of Government, the UK government’s centre of excellence in skills training and organisational development.

Ryde’s career has seen him work extensively with the Cabinet Office, where he was the youngest ever director of the Prime Minister’s flagship leadership development programme – the Top Management Programme. A qualified accountant, he was a director of the 4ps consultancy and recently held a leadership role at the National Audit Office, evaluating the success of a range of major government programmes.

The Centre for Strategic Leadership brings together academic and more pragmatic talents, and makes them available to public service leaders and organisations seeking insight into organisational development and delivery issues.

Of his new role Ryde said: “Our strength lies in our ability to bring together some of the finest academics, practitioners and institutions in the UK and overseas to skill-up senior level people. I am delighted to take forward this Centre and to help drive forward change across Whitehall.”
