Changes ahead for Investors in People

default-16x9

In an interview in the 11 February issue of 'People Management' magazine, Ruth Spellman - the new chief executive of Investors in People - discusses some of the changes she would like to introduce.

To date, 11,301 organisations have received IIP accreditation and 16% have gone forward for re-recognition. However, 7% have allowed their IIP status to lapse.

Spellman is interested in maintaining the interest of accredited bodies and is considering additional elements or modules which could be worked towards by those who already have the main award: management of diversity, and management development are two possible examples.

This feature article is not currently available online, but will be loaded into the People Management archive after a fortnight (when the next issue is published).
