China has bought an online exam for car mechanics, and plans to use it to test up to 3 million people. The Institute of the Motor Industry has negotiated the deal with the State Economic trade commission in Beijing. The deal is worth £30 per candidate.
The vocational qualification exam is randomised, so that a different selection of questions is used each time, and no two candidates will be faced with exactly the same test. The first tests will start after translation is completed.
