A small but dedicated bunch of learners will be switching on their computers rather than the Queen’s Speech after their turkey dinner this year.
E-learning provider Wide Learning said it was surprised to receive six calls on Christmas Day from people who had decided to spend their time learning online and needed assistance.
Steve Dineen, Chief Executive of fuel Group, which owns Wide Learning, said: ‘I know e-learning enables learning any time, any place but perhaps e-learning on Christmas Day is a bit extreme!’
