Circus analogy

default-16x9

A manager I work with mentioned an activity she's come across in the past, where you ask team members to identify with the roles of various circus performers - ie: which role do you identify most with at the moment, which role do you see yourself aspiring to going forward etc. So for instance, you might at present see yourself as the elephant keeper, who goes round shovelling poop all day, but aspire to be the ringmaster! Has anyone come across this before? She thought it was from a book called "The All Star Circus" but I can't find any mention of this on Amazon etc. Thanks Helen

I’m sorry but I haven’t come across this.

Although I do seem to have come across a fair number of clowns during my working life.  🙂
