As an assessor of NVQ In Training I would like to have some examples of what would be relevent for using as training materials for the B31 Unit. Within the Unit Descriptors it has been suggested that this Unit covers 'the design, testing, improvement and production of complex training and development materials. It is not intended to cover the straightforward preparation or modification of training methods, such as preparing overhead transparencies, which is covered in B33.
When advising candidates I would like to have some examples of T&D materials that would qualify for this Unit. I have often been asked whether simple workbooks, manuals for independent study again on a fairly basic level such as self help sheets or exercise sheets for using with computer applications can be used for this Unit.
I would appreciate some answers - examples of what has been used in the past or some pointers (such as links, contacts or other assessors)in the right direction if you are unfamiliar with this aspect.
