Clive is a freelance consultant specialising in the application of communications technology to training and employee communications. His particular specialities are online learning and the design of intranets. During the past twenty years he has held senior positions with American Express, VPS Ltd and Epic Group plc (one of the largest and longest-standing technology-based training companies in Europe). More recently, he has been making his skills available on a freelance basis to organisations such as Abbey National, Bradford & Bingley, Sainsburys and British Airways. He is currently working on a project for the DfEE investigating best practice in web-based training. He has also developed TBT standards for the Institute of IT Training, for whom he also runs classroom courses on various TBT topics. Clive is a prolific developer of tools and courseware including - Training ROI calculator, a training methods selector, an intranet cost-benefit calculator, an online trainers toolkit and an online training course on the design of intranet content, called Web Pages That Work.
