Lecturers at nine colleges in Wales are moving towards industrial action in response to their employers' failure to pass on funding increases. The complaint is that the colleges are using recent rises in available resources for lecturers to pay a previously-negotiated award.

If the Nafthe ballot favours action, lecturers are likely to strike on Thursday 13th December.
