I have a job interview in two days and I have to conduct a presentation on how I would develop the organisations Community Training Programme during its first 3 months highlighting what resources and management expertise would be necessary to deliver the service. Given that I am one of the few people to be offered an interview they obviously believe I have the skills to do the job. However, I have just graduated (having been Training Officer of my students union) and so do not have much knowledge on 'management expertise'. The job requires providing training for 15 community groups on equal opportunities and The Disability Discrimination Act.
Any advice people can offer? I'm not asking for this presentation to be written for me I'd just like to know if there are any useful resources I might be able to get hold of before the interview on 14 August.
Thanks for your time and help :-)

Equal Opportunities
Just seen your ad…
I would concentrate on the 5 good reasons why any organisation should have an equality and diversity policy…
BUSINESS – staff retention, good image and reflecting community served
LEGAL – all equality statutes and codes of practice.Emerging issues,Financial penalties
MORAL – more abstract but quote example of injured service people returning home from WW2 and given disability resettlement employment
HISTORICAL – many sectors too long a male or female preserve
DEMOGRAPHIC – Demographic timebomb, ageing population and growth of new ethnic groups
ON DDA,highlight main employment and service provisions drawing attention to 2004
Finally get them to suggest what a good eo policy should cover,i.e
Support from top
Key definitions of terms
Mission and Vision
Monitoring
Review
Specifics on bullying and harassment
Provision of procedures for employment and the provision of goods facilities and services
