Computers in Personnel Conference from the IPD

The IPD's Computers in Personnel conference taking place from 28-29 June at the Barbican, London will focus on the growing impact of technology advances on HR.

The conference, which is jointly hosted with the Institute for Employment Studies (IES), will offer seminars on all aspects of computerised personnel information systems.

Seminars will address key topics such as the legal implications of holding employee data on computer systems, IT and recruitment, the growth of HR call centres and the benefits of using Information Technology for HR administration.

An exhibition running alongside the conference will showcase suppliers of HR systems and packages.
