I would like to make an enquiry. I have been reading a number of articles and pieces on Concept Mapping using Cluster Analysis, Multi Dimensional Scaling and Point Rating and I am particularly interested in using this approach for identification of Organisational Competencies, Needs Analysis and Value Definitions.

Does anyone in the group have any experience of this approach and if so what software do you use to undertake the statistical analysis? What I have seen to date is either quite expensive or 'user hostile'. I would be interested in hearing from you either on or off the 'zone'.
