Could your staff contribute to my research into mentoring?

default-16x9

Does anyone know of any companies that would let me use their members of staff involved in a formal mentoring scheme, in order to be able to carry out some academic research for my Masters in Training and Human Resource Management.

I am looking to study the effects of a formal mentoring scheme on those not directly being either a mentor or a mentee i.e. to look at the organisational effect of mentoring.

  1. Request for organisations involved in mentoring
In response to your request for study participants for your Masters research, I may have some useful information. I am invovled in running a Mentoring Course with City University, and have developed links with local government authorities involved in mentoring programs. These include the boroughs of Sutton, Croydon, Merton and Wandsworth.

  2. Directory of mentors who may help
The Coaching & Mentoring Network has a directory of business coaches and mentors who may be able to help with you research. If you want to get in touch with us and tell us more about your requirements we’ll be happy to post the request on our site and put you in contact with any mentors with suitable clients.

  3. Mentoring in organisations
    Hi
I was very interested to read your request for information. I am currently undertaking a mentoring study for a DMS dissertation. I’ve taken the angle of the major issues which organisations have to address, one of which will be the effects on peers not being mentored. I’d be extremely grateful if you could e mail me with a brief summary of your findings in this area. Of course if you would like to talk, you can tel. me on 01635 519858.

    Thanks Paul Hendry
