Course Evaluation form

default-16x9

I am a Coach in an organisation and would like to sen out a Survey or Evaluation about what aspects of coaching employees find useful/ not useful.

Does anyone have some samples of evaluation forms which could be useful?

  1. Course Evaluation
    Hi Helen

There are lots of different types of evaluation. My key points would be:
    • only ask questions relating to areas you are prepared to change (for example, don’t ask about satisfactory venues etc if you can’t change locations)
    • tick boxes provide quick fix answer, but don’t necessarily reveal useful information; mix them with open questions for maximum information gathering
    • start with the end in mind; think carefully about what you want to evaluate – is it your coaching style, content etc. focus your evaluation around these areas
    • sometimes discussion groups can provide more information than paper forms as a free style ‘chat’ allows you to go with the flow of whatever points are raised

I would recommend a visit to businessballs.com – look at the info on Kirkpatrick’s Learning Evaluation Model which has lots of information, as well as links to resources and tools you may find useful.

    Regards

You will find a coaching questionnaire in the ‘Free Resources’ section of my website ( http://www.abctrainingsolutions.biz – scroll down to FREE RESOURCES and go into the ‘TNA and Evaluation Tools’ section). It is a questionnaire I have used with line managers to assess their own coaching skills levels . However I am sure it could be adapted to fit your requirements.
    Hope that helps.
    Happy Days!
