You want us to guess?
I doubt you’ll get any responses to this Banalata as any competent trainer will tell you that the content of the programme should be driven by a skills gap analysis; an examination of where the target group’s competence currently lies and where it needs to be in order to undertake the new role.
Any suggestions appearing here will be pure guess work and not the basis upon which to develop any form of training.
Sometimes you have to start somewhere
I partly agree, Gary, but you’re perhaps being a little too harsh here?
Banalata – a starting point could be to look at the (many) published definitions of suggested team leadership and management competencies, and work from there. Good luck.
Me?
Me? Harsh?
Thank You
Thanks to both Clare and Gary for providing me some light into the world of leadership development.
Management Development
You may wish to visit the Institute of Personnel and Development (ILM). They are able to offer a wind range of help. Additionally, the Institute of Customer Services provide similar training.
I have developed a similar management development course internally. Therefore please feel free to contact me if you would like any further help.
