Since August 2001 the Professional Associations Research Network (PARN) has been issuing a fortnightly newsletter, CPD Spotlight, in pdf format. Now PARN has published the Continuing Professional Development Spotlight First Yearbook in hard copy.
Although most professional associations are committed to CPD, differences in understanding and approach remain. New concepts and methods, especially in delivery, promise better practice, but awareness and evaluation are vital if they are to be successfully adopted. CPD Spotlight provides a forum for discussion of important issues in continuing professional development provision and the Yearbook brings together a whole range of valuable articles on different aspects of CPD.
