Learning Materials Design have created CD material for local government elected councillors responsible for excellence in school standards.

David Blunkett, Secretary of State for Education, launched the interactive CDROM, which will train councillors in the law on school standards, at a Local Education Authority conference in May.

Learning Materials Design, as the name suggests, develop interactive learning materials for organisations. They have also created open learning packages for the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accounting, The Better Business Pack toolkit for WWF/NatWest Group and have also created and designed staff handbooks and induction programmes.

The Milton-Keynes based company, who have backgrounds in education, training and information design have been running for 20 years, and offer specialist teams of writers, editors and designers to meet specific needs.
