Detailed Analysis

default-16x9

Hi all,

I am designing a training program to educate participants in the company's risk management system. The program is targeted at senior Project Directors and will be group sizes of 10 - 15. The audience should already be familiar with the risk system as they would have been required to use it for their previous and current roles.

I want to design a half day session that has these people do a detailed analysis of the risk system itself. This will expose them to processes and tools that they have either forgotten or where unaware of.

The idea is to SWOT the system and then use PESTLE and PRIMO-F to further look at the SWOT results, I intend to use tools that the company already has in place, e.g. once a weakness or threat is identified they would enter it into the risk register and they would then analyse that risk.

I want to break the risk system into components and have small groups do what I have just described above on each component.

They would then brainstorm the WT elements and make recommendations for improvement, the whole time, the tools they would be using are those the company already has in place. This provides another element of analysis as they can also SWOT and brainstorm the tools themselves.

Recommendations are then fed back into the business as a way of continuous improvement.

My question is: Have any of you guys done something similar, and what suggestions might you have to make this thing work?
