Dear Everyone
I am looking for suggestions for really good trainers (interactive, not too powerpoint focused, interesting - excellent, in fact!) who could carry out training in how to investigate and chair disciplinary/grievance hearings - including talking to witnesses, investigating, questioning, keeping proper records, practical scenarios, etc.
Preferably in the Oxfordshire area or prepared to travel. We'd like the training tailored so that it can refer to all our own organisational procedures, etc.
Thank you all so much.
Christine

If here was once there, where is there now?
Disciplinary training
Hi
It is worth checking with your HR Managers to see if you have an preferred supplier of legal advice. Many law firms now offer free/low cost seminars and training in areas such as disciplinarys, grievances, etc as a value add to their clients.
One benefit is the training delivered is up to date with the latest EAT positioning, plus from my experience they have access to a wealth of real life case studies to demonstrate key points, and why/how seemingly straightforward situations can escalate.
Hope this helps

Disciplinary Investigation Training
Hi Christine,
They don’t come much better than ACAS. They have offices all over the UK and are great value for money. They do open courses or you can get them to come in to your site.
