  1. Itinerary available
I am currently developing a half-day information forum for new joiners and could forward you the itinerary? How many new joiners do you anticipate joining each month?

  2. Happy to talk to you about products I have available
I have more than 15 years experience of T&D during which time I have designed, delivered, evaluated and re-vamped a number of Induction, employee orientation programmes. Please feel free to e-mail me if you wish to discover more.
A key tip I have picked up is to ensure that you are clear on the what needs to be achieved through the induction programme – a simple question to ask but the answers are many and varied and will deterimine how you structure your programme. It is also important to be aware of how induction fits with the business strategy and goals around the recruitment and retention of people. A final point for now – how much of the induction can be done on-line? things like standard company info. policies, practices can be made available either from off the shelf learning packages or through the Company Intranet. Good luck!

  3. TBT Approach
I would reccomend an induction package by Xebec On-line. We at NETg have a number of customers using this product with strong results. It is a cost effective ready to go solution.

If you require further information please email me at jreading@netg.co.uk

  4. Tailor Made Solutions
At pdc online we can create tailored training solutions and could certainly help to develop an interactive, enjoyable and thorough induction programme. Prior to joining pdc online, I worked as a training manager for NatWest where, (after considering the Xebec option) we developed and introduced our own new 3 day induction course. I also have extensive experience of more long term induction programmes too.

For more information, visit our website at http://www.pdc-online.co.uk or telephone me on 01423 546958.

  5. Induction DIY
Why look for others’ programmes and course offers? Why not do it yourself? I would suggest you have a look at “The Learning Organiser. Mike Tilling. Gower, 1999. A4 ringbinder, 339 pages, £150. ISBN 0 566 08156 3” for some ideas for programmes plus activities to include.
