What brought me to Sydney this time of the year was the Learning@Work Conference and Exhibition, which concluded just yesterday. A premium event featuring some of the world’s foremost thinkers in learning and organizational development, the event saw over 300 attendees and 40+ exhibitors.
We showcased our wide range of innovative learning solutions and interacted with visitors at our stand # 2. I also had the opportunity to present a seminar on ‘eLearning on Tablets – From Understanding to Execution’. In this seminar, I spoke about the growing importance of tablets and how they present an excellent opportunity for organizations in carrying out their learning and development related initiatives. Content design and the different approaches used to display content keeping in consideration what needs to be conveyed and how, various development tools and testing methods to execute a streamlined and hassle-free eLearning solution in the workplace – were some of the themes I covered.
On the whole, my seminar was center pinned on the below mentioned topics. Each topic was supported with relevant examples and cases to aid understanding.
1. Understanding Tablets
a. What is eLearning on Tablets?
b. Why should you consider it?
2. Implementation of eLearning on Tablets
a. How to go about it?
