It would appear that the prime candidates in the City of London to move into pub management are now the stockbroker and investment banker types, and of course those experts of interesting bar-room chat - accountants.

The news is given in a survey conducted on behalf of pub-chain Whitbread who comment that traditionally it's police officers, footballers and armed forces personnel who tend to be at the forefront in applying for pub management and tenancies.
