EuroRecord – an example of a CPD record

default-16x9

A TrainingZone member alerts us to the development of EuroRecord as an example of a tool to help professionals manage their professional development and career. Its designed for the engineering industry, but could be easily adapted and used elsewhere. For those readers with children of secondary school age, the parallel with the National Record of Achievement (or Progress File as it is now being re-branded) will be obvious. This form of planning, recording and reviewing tool is gaining more and more support.

"The EuroRecord is designed to help you :

* draw up and document your competence development plans and identify the requirements for learning and for personal and professional development
* record your learning achievements and professional development, wherever and however it occurs

The EuroRecord has been developed by a consortium of companies, professional organisations, trade unions, universities and other training providers in seven countries, along with a number of European networks and organisations.

You can download and view both paper and electronic file copies of EuroRecord materials, in English and German.
