Does anyone have a set of competences for executive managers - any type of organisation will do. I am not after role specific (ie Marketing or Finance) ones but rather ones concerning strategic leadership etc.
Thanks

Competences or Competencies?
If you are intending using a ‘competency’ framework based on ‘inputs’ the three P rule should help – People skills, Process skills, Personal skills. If you are developing a ‘competence’ framework based on ‘outcomes’ your organisation will need to have a clear focus on what your executive management are expected to achieve, how well (the performance criteria), knowledge, and understanding they will demonstrate, etc.
I trust this is of use.
Andrew.
Competencies
Have you tried the (MCI) NVQ standards for levels 4 and 5?
