Youth Training, Modern Apprenticeships, New Deal, UfI, Employment Training ... the list seems endless, the acronyms grow, and the rules change.
Just what is your experience of government-funded training schemes? At the last count there were nearly 30 different schemes. This workshop is an opportunity to talk with other training providers about just how well the schemes work for you:
- Is there sufficient support for providers?
- What do the individual learners think of them?
- Do they really help people to find and sustain work?
- What would it take to improve some of these schemes?
- How have others overcome the problems you encounter.
