“Schools Minister Charles Clarke today said that new technologies were dissolving boundaries between school, the home and nations, when he joined Irish Education and Science Minister Michael Martin TD today to open the first Anglo/Irish international conference on information and communications technology (ICT) in education.

The Dublin conference, arranged in association with the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), will focus on factors influencing the effective use of new technologies in learning and teaching and their implications for policy and practice.”
