Freelance trainers
I work for a global FMCG company, and in 1999 we had to roll-out 2,500 new PCs across one of our Europe divisions. We were switching from Windows 3.1 to NT.
We designed a half day training course introducing people to NT, and how to access e.learning to fill in the gaps. While they attended the course their new PCs were being installed, so that they could put the training into use immediately.
We translated the course into French, Spanish, German and Italian.You can imagine the complications that this involved.
The project was a great success, and the main reason was that we had a great external project manager, with good freelance trainers on her books.
