Freeserve’s unlimited use internet access package goes live

default-16x9

As the battle for unmetered access to the internet hots up, Freeserve has released its contribution offering its members two additional options. Freeserve already offers free dial-up accounts, where the user pays phone call charges at the prevailing BT rate. Now the three new options extend this with a fixed price dial-up but free call charges.

Unlimited Freeserve Time allows Freeserve members to use the internet at any time, without call charges, for a single monthly payment of £10. By routing existing national and international phone calls through a Freeserve line, even this cost can be eliminated.

Off-Peak Freeserve Time allows Freeserve members to use the internet call-free at off-peak times for £6.99/month and will be available from 1 June.

More information about both schemes from http://www.freeserve.com/time

The only drawback is that Freeserve are restricting applications to 10,000 per week; all our attempts to register have met with a ‘today’s allocation is already taken’ message.
