Does anyone know of any resources I could use in training staff to understand and use the MLAR and PSD reporting required by the FSA.
I am really looking for a "from basics" including priciples and legal requirements as at the moment the staff I am looking to train may not have been involved in anything like this before. I am trying not to scare them off and trying to make it easy and as interesting as possible. (If that can be done!!!) any assistance appreciated.

This is not my field but I do at least know you are refering to the Financial Service Authority not the Food Standards Agency and that this relates to things like the Mortgage Lending Activity Report introduced in 2004.
I have asked around and have not discovered any free access materials. It looks like you will be reliant on contacts in a potentially competitive organisation being willing to share what they do. If you have a budget and don’t want to invent stuff yourself there are companies, like Call Credit, who can help for a fee.
