I have run some team days to improve communications/cohesion within teams and have found that practical tasks work well and keep the teams both involved and improve communication post-course. I have run some where I set out some ‘nuclear waste’ (orangeaid) in the middle of a circle and then allowing the teams various bits of equipment tell them they have to move the waste to a safe store (plastic bin). NO one must touch the bottle, no one must enter the circle. The equipment can vary just use a little imagination and it makes for a fun session- 1/2 an hour for each team if they are bright and revved up!
