My organisation is embarking on a programme of cultural development. As part of this process we are looking at adopting the GE Workout model as a method for engaging all levels of staff. In some areas of the business we believe we need to take a fast, bottom up approach. My research so far suggests that the Workout is a little outdated and I've read a number of articles that suggest that without a Jack Welch driving the process with passion it is not easily transferable to other organisations. Do you have an experience to share? Can you recommend an alternative?
