Considered as one of the most effective routes to driving up employee engagement, First Line Manager development provides immediate business payback by impacting performance, customer service, innovation, commitment and quality.
It is thought to be vital to assist First Line Managers (FLM’s) in developing good habits during the first stages of their career in order to secure maximum impact for both the individual and organisation.
It is often thought that being a FLM is one of the most important roles within a business and getting the best out of staff can be a challenging task, especially when time and resources are low. For those that are new to management, this task can be even more daunting, as they are likely to have little experience and knowledge of managing people and how best to bring out the most in employees.
It is for these reasons that The Oxford Group, Kineo and ILM have teamed up to create a new and effective training scheme for FLM’s and this new approach is going to be revealed at an event on the event on 23rd November 2016. The Oxford Group is inviting decision makers in HR, training, leadership and development to take part in a series of sessions to teach them about this new approach to First Line Management development.
Attendees will learn how to bridge the gap between learning new skills and applying them to work, hear about the latest thinking behind FLM development and experience two key topics that every FLM will benefit from through developing their skills.
The event will be held on Wednesday 23rd November 2016 from 9.00am to 12.45pm at Alfred Place (2nd Floor), 1 Alfred Place, London, WC1E 7EB. The nearest tube station is either Goodge Street or Tottenham Court Road.
The event is free to attend and places are limited so will be served on a first-come-first-served basis. To register a place, please contact marketing on marketing@oxford-group.com
