TrainingZONE Online Workshop
Government-sponsored training/employment programmes - the training providers' experience
Tuesday 18 July 2000
13:00-13:45
https://www.trainingzone.co.uk/workshop

New Deal, Modern Apprenticeships, Training for Work, University for Industry ..... they've been around for 25 years in various forms and both major parties have introduced new ones at different times - but just what is the training providers' experience of them?

The main points under discussion:

  • What are they like in practice?
  • How do you find them to administer?
  • What do you think of the new inspection procedures?
  • How well prepared are the participants?
  • Are the policy frameworks realistic
  • Do they actually work?

This is your chance to talk to other trainers and training providers about your experience of government-funded training and education programmes. Come and share your experiences, both good and bad; learn from what others have done. And if we can generate some useful ideas, TrainingZONE will present them to the relevant ministers.

All our online workshops are free to join. Just visit the workshop page at the time shown above.
