- The session looked at the presuures on the training department and what we can do about these with a focus on skills
- Key pressures: money, time, managers wanting skills training but not giving employees enough time for it
- What are classrooms good for including emulation - watching others and emulating them
- Key for L&D professionals is to provide different delivery mechanisms for providing content
- Future focus for L&D teams will be on these four areas: capability building, performance support, individual learning support and organisational skills support.
