  1. I use SkillSoft
I inherited SkillSoft as my e-learning provider when I joined my current organisation, having previously worked with Net-G. Net-G are now merged with SkillSoft. I had as very positive experience of working with Net-G….my initial experience with SkillSoft was average. I am hoping the merger between the two will bring positive improvements. Is there anything specifically you wanted feedback on?

  2. Positive experience
    Hi Neil,

We use Skillsoft as our main platform for delivering e learning and on the whole I find it really good. It’s functionality is good and it is reasonalby user friendly. I would say it depends on the audience who will be using it as to how appropriate it may be. It has a lot on there and not all of it is useful. I wouldn’t call it the most engaging and cutting edge platform but if you compare it with other providers it is probably on a par. If you want to know some more specifics just let me know.

    Cheers

    Ben

  3. hosted or in-house?
one factor to bear in mind is if you intend to use content from other suppliers (or internally generated) since you need to be able to get this integrated with the vendor courses and be able to manage/update – critical is hosted v. internal

  4. Positive feedback
    Hi there

I have experience of working with Skillsoft in relation to development of a compliance skills course for my organisation.

Skillsoft worked very well with us to deliver what we required to very tight deadlines, and they were consultative and helpful throughout.
