I've been asked to interview on Monday (which I'm very pleased about) however there's a presentation involved and it's a bit of a tricky one for me.
It's got to be 15 minutes long on the subject of: “Identify learning needs and planning delivery to the childcare sector within specified delivery timescales”.
Which wouldn't be that bad except for... I don't know anything about the childcare sector. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Have you looked at the Children’s workforce NTO site?

Look at Sure Start web site, plus look up Every Child Matters and Birth to Three Matters (type in to Google and should come up with government web sites. Should give you background to current issues. I’ve worked in childcare (primary education) and there’s SO much you could look at! Not knowing context of job its difficult. I usually do a presentation that uses a
sort of acrostic – use C H I L D C A R E and pick a word from the info that you get and that best fits the job description may be an idea.
