default-16x9

Each week TrainingZONE will feature a questionnaire completed by one of our members. This week it's the turn of Claire Jenkinson, Student Activities Co-ordinator.

Name: Claire Jenkinson

Position: Student Activities Co-Ordintator

How did you get to your current role? After graduating from Manchester University and being heavily involved in training for the Nightline service, I was recommended for the post at the Student's Union.

What are the best and worst aspects of your role? Best aspects are the limitless possibilities for the role in terms of areas I could cover, and definitely the feeling after a good session. Worst aspects are probably relying on technology - OHPs and Powerpoint can both be evil when they want to be!

What is your most hated buzzword? "Faciliatator."

What is the best lesson you have learnt You can never be too prepared!

What has been your best career moment so far? Getting this job, I am lucky in that I have gone straight into a job that I love after graduation.

What has been your worst training moment? The tumbleweed effect after one of my jokes..
