As part of a conference, I will need to deliver one of the breakout session for 45 min on - 'How to recognise a good leader'.
The audience is mixed and I could have from 16 to 50 people in the session. I want to make the session participative but do not want to deliver a presentation on the general principles of good leadership etc etc.
I have some ideas of what I could do but would be interested to hear from anyone who may have experienced a similar situation or could offer suggestions.
Many thanks

Build A Great Leader
I’ve used this before.
Get the group, ideally broken into smaller groups, to brainstorm their ideal leader, basing the description on well known names.
For instance, a mixture of Richard Branson (he’s always a popular choice), Sir John Harvey-Jones and Anita Roddick.
The groups then have to explain the qualities of each leader, to reach the overall profile of a good leader.
