HR business game / simulation

Does Anyone know of or have a simulation / game / activity / exercise which helps learners to discover what HR is all about?

The learners are new management trainees (graduates) with no HR background or "real" management responsibility, as yet.

This session on HR is part of a longer course, and we have 2 hours to use.

The objectives of the session are for them to UNDERSTAND the role of the HR function in business and RECOGNISE their role in relevant "HR" processes. Also practise some DECISION MAKING within those processes.

    I don’t know of such a simulation but the real fun would be in creating your own.

    The role HR plays is often different from organisation to organisation. For example the extent of line management responsibility for HR will differ enormously.

    For your situation, I can envisge a room with a number of stations at it. At each station exists a different HR scenario e.g. a recrutment interview, a disciplinary problem, a business problem that requires a training repsonse etc. The graduates would have to visit each station and decide what to do.
