I am looking for training to be delivered for an HR Planning workshop. It would need to be provided in-house for between 15-50 employees. Can anyone recommend a provider?

HR planning workshop
Hi Sara,
The scope seems a bit wide at the moment to me an this could generate many ideas in the wrong direction.
Could you provide more details about what the workshop is likely to produce and the role of the provider?
The solution could differ greatly:
A facilitator asking the right questions and assisting in the formulation of an HR plan?
An outward bounds type set up that would focus key aspects of a plan through activities?
A mix?
Cheers.

Hi Sarah,
We have previously used Gary Saunders of the consultancy fe3 (www.corporatemagnetism.com) to assist the HR team to make the transition towards a business partner model. Due to our own internal time constraints we broke the delivery into two sessions, both were very interactive and got everyone involved both in learning about the model but also the way in which we would plan the delivery of our HR services.

Pinning down ‘HR Planning’
Sarah, are you looking for HR strategy? Planning the future of the HR function? Developing new roles in HR (HR business partners) as part of a new plan? Planning HR shared services/outsourcing?

Hi Sarah
You mentioned you are looking for a HR Planning Workshop provider. I agree with the other comments made ref details – I live just over the bridge in Chepstow so could come over and have an “off the record” chat if it would help?
My immediate thoughts are around planning to implement HR projects or programmes – but may be very wide of the mark!
You could also have a look at http://www.trainerbase.co.uk for more details on possible providers? (I must admit to having an interest here as I am a freelance training consultant myself!)
